The artist

Painting what nature still whispers

I paint landscapes that exist at the edge of the visible — mountains that carry the prayers of those who climbed them, forests where the myths never truly left the roots of the trees.

Each canvas is born of a reading: sacred texts, folk legends, pilgrims' accounts. In them I look for what all traditions share — that ancient conviction that the earth itself is inhabited by something greater.

From my studio, I work in oil and acrylic, in slow layers, the way one lets a thought ripen.

Emotions on canvas — that is what I call it. To paint and to convey emotion through colour and form is wonderful.

All these themes are connected. Accounting, photography and writing complete my activities and my passions.
